Hauptwirkstoffe
Protoanemonin (0.26 µg/g Feuchtgewicht), Pyrrolizidin- und Aporphin-Alkaloide, Flavonglykoside, Magnoflorin, Saponine. Toxine im Dürrfutter inaktiviert.
Wirkungsmechanismen
Lokale Reizwirkung, nach Resorption zuerst Erregung, dann Lähmung des ZNS.

Letale Dosis
Hund (p.o.): | 20 mg/kg Körpergewicht Protoanemonin. |
Rind (p.o.): | 120-200 mg/kg Körpergewicht Protoanemonin. |
Klinische Symptome
Salivation, Stomatitis, Vomitus, Diarrhoe (evt. blutig), Kolik, Hämaturie, Ataxie der Hinterhand, Sehstörungen, Konvulsionen, evt. Tod (selten). Vergiftungsfälle bei
Schaf, Ziege, Pferd und
Rind.
