Wirkungsmechanismen
Das 4'-O-Methylpyridoxin hemmt die Glutamatcarboxylase, die die Metabolisierung von Glutamat zu Gammaaminobuttersäure(GABA) bewirkt. Glutamat ist ein wichtiger exzitatorischer Neurotransmitter und GABA, als inhitorischer Neurotransmitter, sein Gegenspieler.
